Tillsonburg, ON – Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (TDMH) is a small rural community hospital, funded by the Ministry of Health to operate of 50 inpatient beds: 34 acute care medical surgical beds, 10 Complex Continued Care (CCC) beds, and 6 Level Two Advanced Intensive Coronary Care beds (ICCU). To meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, TDMH has routinely operated over capacity, with an average of 12 additional unfunded acute beds open daily for the past several years.
TDMH is pleased to announce the opening of a 12-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU), made possible through $1.6 million in funding from Ministry of Health (MOH). The unit officially opened on April 1, 2025, and will operate for a one-year period through to March 31, 2026.
